Fisher v. Carrousel Motor Hotel, Inc.

“(1) Does the evidence support the claim that a battery occurred, even though there was no physical contact or fear or apprehension of physical injury; and if so, (2) are the two corporate defendants responsible for the malicious actions of their employee?”

Context: This case brief analyzes a legal case. I created this artifact due to my interest in both law and the critical thinking and analytical aspects of technical writing and communication. I completed this by reading and understanding the chosen case, and then breaking it down in a way that creates a better understanding of said case. This required the ability to understand and analyze complex text, and then create an analysis through the use of effective written communication. Additionally, having strong organizational skills allowed for the analyzed content to be correctly structured. With that said, this artifact is a display of a variety of my communication skills that align especially with analytical and critical thinking as well as written communication competencies.
